Here are some students who have graduated from PYD. Listen to their opinions about their experience in the program. Although they went through the same classes, each student gained something unique from it.
Name: Ken Fujimoto
My objective of joining PYD was to gain experience of interacting and working withnative workers so that I can develop myself to be more accomplished business man.Since I wanted to work in a global company in future, I thought doing internship in international organization is necessary. In addition to this, I also thought it would be a great opportunity for me to enhance my English skill. Because studying in language school was never satisfactory for me, I was always looking for a chance to use English in a real life.
The structure of AIP was quite simple. “The harder I work, the more I get a chance to enhance myself.” That’s what I figured out. To be honest, I have to say that AIP wasn’t very easy. I had to be positive and pro-active to gain the best benefit from the program. However that may be, it doesn’t mean that I had to do something special. Doing everything possible is what really matters. Even though my English wasn’t perfect, I always felt thanks and respect from the members. This made me feel very comfortable and easy to keep my motivation high to work in this organization. Moreover, members supported me in many aspects. For example, Mr. Leo took his precious time for me to have a meeting until midnight during the weekdays. I was always excited to discuss about the project with this generous CEO. It not only improved my English ability, but also broadened my insight and viewpoint.
As a whole, I am very proud of myself doing something productive in PYD. How many of the students can tell their experience in the US with confidence? Since there are so many students staying abroad nowadays, studying in language school wouldn’t make us unique anymore. I would highly recommend AIP to the students who really are motivated and willing to develop unique skills to enhance career with related experience. There is always room to grow at PYD.
Name: Sansanee Phromma (Ning)
I am the first AIP graduated student. I would say?AIP is very special. The program is not the same with any language schools. It is important to learn in order to be ready for the future. In the class, the students were from different countries. When we had a group projects or discussion, these activities broaden my point of view. I learned a lot how to negotiate and worked with them. After I finished the program, I feel comfortable to talk with native speakers and become more confident.
The first reason to come here is to improve english proficiency. However, what I gain is not only improving English proficiency. I gain a lot of experiences from studying and working with PYD. I found that this is the place of opportunities to learn and?develop myself. My life have changed from being just a regular student. It challenges for me to study and work for PYD at the same time. However, I am very proud of myself that I can handle it. Moreover, I am glad to work with?PYD members. They are very nice and kind. We are like a family. We concern about each other. These make me feel comfortable and willing to work with them..

AIP for me is the AMERICAN ID0L PROGRAM and not the AMERICAN INTERNSHIP PROGRAM. Why? For many reasons: being different and unique from any other regular class; combine the opportunity to learn English and discover the western society on different levels; preparing the students by gaining experience to be professional by meeting with professional people... and more but I’m going to leave an empty space for the students who will enjoy AIP and I’m sure they will have a lot to say. I finished five months in the AIP program, and I choose to continue with them by getting my internship with the PYD; because I want to learn more and develop my skills as a leader, teamwork member, and individuality that you will need it to be successful in your life. Hope I see you there thanks.
Name: Xiao You (Penny)
I remember it was summer break when I first came to PYD. I was told this is a free class, for killing time so I followed my friends.
At the very beginning, we were asked:"what is your dream?" I said I wanted retire before 40 years old and to travel around world. I think PYD is helping the make the dream come true little by little.
AIP is trying to help the international students finding internships here. The class teaches us to evaluate ourselves by SWOT analysis, debate and so on, so that we could better prepare our resumes and interviews.
As days passed, I felt myself felling love with PYD. It is a family here. Students care about each other and the teachers helps us grow. Leo (the founder) always talks to me at the first moment when I did something wrong or something right, and always shares his experience with me. I found I was wrong, coming to PYD is not killing time, it is growing up.
Now, I have graduated from AIP advanced class, and I am working in this organization. I would like to contribute my time and energy to help the other international students.
Name: Jenny Sun
My name is Jenny from Taiwan, graduate student at Pace University, NY. My major is Computer Science Information System. I really appreciate that PYD give me a chance to learn business conversation and business class which I can't learn from my school now.
I took AIP class for two semesters and I learned a lot. After two terms training, I become more confident than before. I am not afraid to talk in front of people and not afraid to have aninterview with someone else.
The business plan class and the interview class help me a lot. I had no idea how to do the business plan and I had no idea how to do my resume in USA. Mr. Leo and Mr. Ace open my sights. They teach me how to think in an American way.
I have good news to share. After graduateing from AIP-PYD, I sent out my resume to find the internship in New York. The resume which was fixed by Mr. Leo and Mr. Ace looked really professional. I got three interview chances and I got a really good internship job this semester. My boss told me that he was very impressed when he had interviewed me. This was the first time he felt that an Asian student can talk a lot and talk naturally. He could feel my confidence and he wanted to know me when he read my resume.
Thank you so much, PYD! I really appreciate it!
Name:Loukman Lamany
Hi my name is Loukman Lamany commonly known as Jay.I'm from Togo, West Africa. Earning AIP from PYD has been a great experience.I was asked recently to write about that great experience and I spent couple days without writting anything down. The reason was as simple: to me it's like asking me to define my mother.there's so much to talk about you don't even know where to start. PYD gave me the support and the clues to find the best in myself. It was more than a school. In just three(3) months, the instructor (the most awesome teacher I have met so far) gave me a whole new look of the world and myself. I mean while I was learning to improve my english I was also learning to improve my skills as a person and my ways to connect with other people. So again what can I tell u about PYD? It gave birth to a "new me",it's schooling a "new me."
